For one huge reason, because I've already grown to my maximum physically. Another reason is that my mental capacity is on it's downward slide and as I age my mind deteriorates more rapidly. I feel I'm still emotionally strong, and I strive to be ethically/morally competent in making choices and decisions in my life.
Therefore, for me to grow spiritually is to be aware of who I am (my identity in Jesus Christ) and what I must do to mature as a Christian. I seek to increase my walk with Christ in a way that I can work toward being a man of exception in the Hands of an Exceptional God! I believe it's a no brainer - if I don't grow spiritually I'm a dead man walking.
