Lovely Wife Peggy and I just returned from 10 days in the High Sierras with some friends that we met on choir tour over 5 years ago. We're delighted that we had a chance to rest and get "refreshed" through time with the Lord in His absolutely beautiful handiwork in the mountains up at Lake Alpine (7400 feet!)! We also know that our rest comes from, and is in Him! One of my favorite verses is, "Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
